Introducing ACOP Canada's

Faith, Life & Theology

ministry initiative

Spiritual Health

The Faith, Life & Theology ministry initiative will help us to achieve our mission of developing faithful leaders and healthy churches by cultivating opportunities for spiritual formation and theological vitality.

This priority area will help to encourage and revitalize pastors and churches as we seek to make new disciples who faithfully live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Although success in this strategic area will require contributions from all, the National Faith, Life & Theology Team (in coordination with the ACOP President, Apostolic Team, Regional Directors, fellowship ministers, and Eston College) will lead this priority area.

“Spiritual formation is the lifelong journey of being shaped by the Holy Spirit."

Key Aims

The Faith, Life & Theology ministry initiative helps foster spiritual health and theological vitality in ACOP by:

  • Writing and providing resources for Christian spiritual formation in our churches and leaders.
  • Providing lifelong learning opportunities to grow in biblical and theological depth.
  • Articulating and safeguarding our biblical and Pentecostal convictions through updates and upkeep of our ACOP Statement of Faith.

Faith, Life & Theology Team

The National Faith, Life, & Theology Team (NFLT) assists ACOP in growing spiritually healthy churches grounded in the Bible and equipped to reach their communities for Christ.

We do this by cultivating spiritual formation and theological vitality resources and events, providing spiritual direction in faith, theology, and Christian living, and articulating our ACOP theological convictions.
