Stirred Up Report

Last week, the ACOP 2026 Biennial Conference was hosted by the Calgary Full Gospel Church.  The theme of the conference was Stirred Up! Based on II Peter 1:13 “I think it right, as long as I am in the body, to stir you up by way of a reminder.”

A number of significant decisions were made by the delegates at the conference.  The conference made a change to the statement of faith regarding the nature of God. The revised statement is:

We believe in the one true God, the Creator and Lord of all things, who lives eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each distinct and fully divine.

The delegates also elected Rev. Chris Westby as the next president of ACOP.  A transition process will begin in the fall from the current president, Rev. Wes Mills.  Please pray for Chris, Sherri, and their family as they transition to this new role. Click here to watch a video that Chris and Sherri have prepared.
