Sarah Sinanan Ordination #
On September 17, 2023, Calgary Full Gospel Church had the pleasure of hosting Sarah Sinanan’s ordination service. We wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate her on this new chapter and bless her continued ministry! Sarah will continue to serve at CFG as the Worship Director and Youth Pastor, and we are excited to see the work God does through her!
ACOP Has a New Logo #
How do you design a new logo? Thankfully, we had the professional help of the team, led by Jayne, at Pattison Sign Group. We wanted our new logo to say who we are with one look—a global movement of passionate people extending God’s grace and igniting hope in every community. That’s a lot to ask from a logo!
It seemed right to us to use the acronym for Apostolic Church of Pentecost, because we are best known as ACOP.
The font in the design uses rounded terminals, imparting a friendly and approachable demeanor, especially used in our logo for the warmth it conveys.
The main colour of our new logo is navy blue which speaks to loyalty (ACOP is almost 102 years old) and trustworthiness—the Gospel is trustworthy, and we have been faithful to that beautiful message for many years, and You are part of that legacy.
The three crosses—the redemptive story of Jesus’ sacrifice for all, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”—Romans 5:8
The large cross in the middle is navy, again, the trustworthy message of the Gospel—His love for us. The smaller green one on the left portrays new life and growth, a value that ACOP has always upheld. The gold-green on the right represents abundant grace and hope!
So, as we begin to use this new logo, and change the way we look on the outside, let’s continue to extend grace and ignite hope as we always have and serve His Kingdom to the best of our abilities.
