Eston College—Burning Lamp Weekend and Graduation #

The Burning Lamp Weekend at Eston College brought over 300 guests back to the Eston College Campus. Class reunions reunited people who had not seen each other in many years. There were recreational events planned, a very meaningful testimony service was held, workshops were offered, and there was an opportunity to walk down memory lane as photographs from the last 79 years were put on display.
The evening services were marked with exuberant worship, led by both current students and alumni. Elsie Welch an Eston College Alumni brought anointed prophetic messages each evening. On Saturday morning Eston College President Sean Stevenson-Douglas led in a very significant solemn assembly entitled “Ears to Hear.” The weekend culminated with a graduation ceremony on Sunday morning.
It was also announced during the Burning Lamp Weekend that the Eston College campus will be gifted to Village of Hope to establish a drug and alcohol recovery center in Eston, Saskatchewan—that will serve Western Canada. This decision to gift the campus was made unanimously by the Eston College Board of Directors, in consultation with the Eston Full Gospel Church Board and the Town of Eston—who both strongly supported the Village of Hope’s proposal.
Eston College will conclude its ministry in Eston, Saskatchewan this summer and will open for classes this fall at the Regina Apostolic Church.
Isn’t Our God Great? Thanks for praying! #

Thank you for your prayers and encouraging others to pray while our son, Noah, was sick. After being in London, ON for about three weeks he has made a full recovery; he and Sarah returned home last Saturday.
We are so thankful for everyone who prayed and helped to support us.
Yours in Christ,
Nikolas & Sarah Amodeo

Stan King Celebration of Life #

There will be a Stan King Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Eston Full Gospel Church.
Stan is an alumnus of FGBI from the 1940s and a long-standing member of ACOP. He and his wife Phyllis served as pioneer missionaries for over 40 years in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Many people came to Christ and many churches were established through their ministry and that of their missionary colleagues. Those churches are now all served by nationals—all praise to the Lord!
Friendly Reminders #

Leading in ministry is highly demanding and extremely stressful – so much so that it’s common for leaders and their spouses to struggle with discouragement, burnout and relational issues.
As a member of ACOP you have access to Focus on the Family Clergy Care.
